The Larder House held a Txoko Night as part of their two weeks of Basque celebration.
Txoko is about eating together, chatting together but more importantly cooking together. Part of the fun is to get stuck in and to make the food that will be eaten on the night.
We had a huge chunk of steak from a retired dairy cow. Something that is coming in Europe but not in the UK, where dairy cow seems to go into making pet food. What a waste as it tasted brilliant.
