Southbourne Grove is definitely coming on leaps and bounds in recent years.
Since the arrival of Ludo Lounge, which I feel has added a vibrancy to the area and got people coming out for an evening’s drink that may well have otherwise stayed in, the rest of the street has had to up its game.
The same can be said of the new delis and coffee shops. It’s all going up a notch.
Rare to see real butchers, grocers and fishmongers on the high street but the Grove has them all and they all are very popular as well. Hopefully the arrival of the big chains will not diminish the cosy community feel.
All in all, well done to the people who live in the Southbourne area that support their local shops.
