The last two nights I have spent enjoying nice company, great food and cocktails, and good service over at The Larder House.
Wallet-busting it might have been and an indulgence of sorts, nevertheless it shows what Southbourne has to offer. Independent small business bring something different, quirky, innovative along with friendly service.
Earlier that afternoon we also had six of us enjoying cream tea over at &tea.
Southbourne could do with another place for people to eat and drink beyond what there is on the Grove currently. I am sure the market is there. It definitely does not need another supermarket chain being plonked in the middle.
