There is this Bournemouth/Bristol based band called Yellowgroove that are quite well known locally who created a music promo video right down on Southbourne Beach by Hengistbury Head. It is really nice to see a local Southbourne restaurant, L’assiette, rated as number one in the Trip Adviser list for Bournemouth restaurants. For those that did not see the old Boscombe Pier I have added one that shows the previous building that was at the end of the pier. Local news for local people from around the Grove... Southbourne is a wonderful place with great access to beaches, pubs and restaurants. Packed full of independent shops, butchers, grocers, cafes, pubs and a beautiful beach. It is so easy to get to from the M3/M27. Close to the New Forest and all those country house hotels and on the way to Bournemouth and Poole with all the shops.
