The Southbourne Revival event in July 2019 was a resounding success. The comments from visitors on the day was incredible.
The fact that it was organised within 12 weeks was incredible. There were people saying that it shouldn’t have been done, that it couldn’t have been done – well, we showed them.
When I say “we”, it means the whole community of volunteers and supporters, the well wishers, the sewing team, the knitting crew, the marshals, those that made donations and those that shared our news on social media.
It was a joy to see on the day. Very moving and the comments all made us feel very emotional.
