The old derelict white building towards the garage seems to be nearing the end of its refurbishment.
Sporting multicoloured glass frontage it is being a little bit different and more than a little bit modern for Southbourne Grove.
The whole notion of the design and proposed mini-supermarket chain has a mixed reaction. Mostly a mix of not wanting another chain branch there as there are several local mini-markets already established for a while.
It remains to be seen whether it will work out for the best but at least it is different.
